In 2022 I started my IVF journey after 2 years of infertility and fell pregnant after the first round with a baby boy. Unfortunately, my waters broke early and he was born at 16w.

 

A few months later, I did another round of IVF which ended in a miscarriage.

In 2023 I fell pregnant naturally, and once again went into premature labour. At 21w2d, I birthed another baby boy who went straight to heaven.

 

This happened due to an incompetent cervix.

 

When I left the hospital after my first loss, aside from a beautiful keepsake book, I left empty handed. I felt as if I got to the hospital pregnant and left with nothing.

 

When I lost my second boy, my best friend came to the hospital with a baby blanket. I got to wrap him in it and take it home. I cuddle the blanket every night when I go to sleep.

 

I want every single couple who unfortunately experiences a birth where they don't get to take their baby/babies home, to have something of their baby to leave with and have in their hands forever.

 

I knit and collect donations of blankets for couples who experience stillbirths and late miscarriages and donate them to hospitals in memory of my babies and all the other angel babies <3
